And we’re back! We had so much fun hosting lunches last summer with Golden Dawn that we’ve all decided to have another go. Three lunches over the summer, long casual affairs with food from the very talented Becks Pilley and organisation by GD’s wonderful Kelly Gibney. The first is next Sunday December 1, starting at 1pm.

We’re super excited about the menu because – wait for it – there is corned tongue. And coal-roasted pheasant. And broad beans and goat’s cheese and Toulouse sausages and Eton mess. Thank god for summer.

Smoked eel, beetroot & horseradish w/ beet greens
Corned tongue w/ mustard & German black bread

Coal-roasted pheasant w/ prune & sourdough stuffing
Toulouse sausage & cherry tomato preserve
Zuchinni & fennel carpaccio w/ chilli & mint
Baby swift potatoes & tarragon aioli

Eton mess w/ fresh berries & rosewater cream
