Winter comes to an end, and we reluctantly come to the end of our Sunday Supper series at Golden Dawn. As always, it’s shared dining, and it’s a lot of fun with, um, rustic amounts of food so if do come, eat, drink and say hello to your neighbour. It helps that the menu looks as good as it does. Asparagus! Finally!

Smoked kahawai & anchovy cakes w/ caper remoulade

Beetroot carpaccio w/ herb rolled buffalo labneh 

Rabbit, pork & mace rillete w/ charred fig toast

Coal roasted Cadrona merino lamb w/ green herb oil

Swede mash w/ almond crust & smoked garlic butter

Wild watercress salad w/ wholegrain mustard vinaigrette

New season asparagus & grilled chicory w/ lemon buerre blanc

 Apple & tamarillo pie w/ fresh cream
