Sunday Supper Sept

A month has gone by already, which means the end of winter – hurrah! – and time for another supper at Golden Dawn. We’ll be honest and say last month‘s was pretty special – inside at two long candle-lit tables, great food and good company. This month, we’ll start in the courtyard with a bowl of Jerusalem artichoke soup, then adjourn inside for a pescatarian spring feast. Tickets are $62 and available from over here. We’d love to see you there.

Jerusalem artichoke soup

 Kingfish ceviche w/ fresh chilli & lime

Saffron steamed pipis

 Prawn buns w/ Japanese mayo, chilli & preserved lemon

 Fennel-baked gurnard

Barley risotto w/ nettles & goat cheese

Wild rocket & dandelion greens, wholegrain mustard vinaigrette

Turmeric-roasted cauliflower w/ golden raisins, pinenuts & preserved lemon

 Bittersweet chocolate pudding w/ red-wine tamarillos & clotted cream

    I just wanted to say thank-you so much; last night’s Sunday Supper was SO amazing! The cheviche was the best I have ever had, everything was devine and even though I thought I was too full to eat any more once dessert came around, I’m pleased to say I didn’t say no and it was insanely good. Can’t wait for the next one.
    Oh and the music was a perfect match for the food.
